Kenji Mizumoto is a physician and epidemiologist working at the intersection of infectious disease epidemiology, health sciences, and social medicine. His research focuses on measuring and understanding health risks in real-world settings and connecting evidence with decision-making and implementation.
His career has included clinical medicine, public health administration, and academic research in Japan and the United States. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he contributed to public health responses at both national and local-government levels in Japan.
